Think Like a Man Too for sure has its deep-running emotional highs and lows—at times, thoughtfully brought to life by good performances from most of the cast. With names like Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Dennis Haysbert, Romany Malco, and Gabrielle Union, the film's lack of excelling is not for a lack of talent.
But none of them work to justify this excursion—and sequel to the first movie about a bunch of immature men who can’t seem to take charge of themselves or their relationships. This time, they are all headed to Vegas for a guys’ night out while the girls get their own bash, pending one couple’s wedding.
The central problem is that audiences simply don’t get anything more than what we got the first time around. And even with Kevin Hart’s usual hyper-impulsive antics at their best, we still don’t get any sufficient payoff until the movie’s conclusion.
